Hello!!!! I’m back! I know I’ve been quiet here for a while, but I have good reason, and I’m so thrilled to share my brand new website which has been brilliantly designed by the very talented Andrew at Design for Writers. Andrew designed my first website back in 2013 and we felt it was time for a make-over.
The new site is all about the books and I hope you enjoy reading about them, and how I came to write them. I’m especially excited to have added international editions to the book pages, and so thrilled to include two brand new books to the site: THE COTTINGLEY SECRET and LAST CHRISTMAS IN PARIS. Both books have had wonderful early reviews and the last few months have been very busy with lots of very exciting promotional activity happening behind the scenes ahead of these two new books releasing in the next three months (important dates for bookish diaries are listed below). THE COTTINGLEY SECRET has been dubbed one of the “Most Anticipated Books of Summer 2017” by BookBub, and received a starred review from Booklist, describing the book as, “beautifully written and expertly researched.”
At the moment, there are Goodreads giveaways running for both THE COTTINGLEY SECRET and LAST CHRISTMAS IN PARIS, and if you head over and Like my Facebook page, you can also read exclusive excerpts from THE COTTINGLEY SECRET.
Please have a look around the new site. I would love to know what you think. Also, remember to sign up for my newsletter (sign-up is easy peasy) and then you’ll be sure to hear all my latest book news and will also be eligible for exclusive subscriber giveaways.
As always, thank you for reading! Lots more news to come over the following weeks. Stay tuned!
1st August – THE COTTINGLEY SECRET releases in all formats in the USA/Canada
7th September – THE COTTINGLEY SECRET releases in IRE in paperback, and in the UK/ANZ in ebook.
18th September – THE COTTINGLEY SECRET releases in ANZ in paperback
3rd October – LAST CHRISTMAS IN PARIS releases in all formats in the USA/Canada.
5th October – LAST CHRISTMAS IN PARIS releases in all formats in IRE/UK/ANZ.
Congratulations!
All good news, Hazel, but why so long for it to be in print in the UK? Isn’t that where Cottingley is?!
I just finished reading The Girl Who Came Home. It is my first book to read by you and I really enjoyed it. The book was believable. I found the movie Titanic had beautiful music, fabulous costumes and all the elegance of Titanic but the story was not believable. Your novel was-every character was real. The love story could have really happened and it ended happy. Titanic will always have a glamour and a deep sadness that emerges into many stories. I know the research must have taken awhile but you wrote a beautiful novel. I am researching some of your other novels now.
Am thoroughly enjoying “The Lighthouse Keeper’s Daughter.” Can’t wait to read another one of your novels.
